- आरबीआई ने 2021-22 के लिए सीपीआई मुद्रास्फीति 5.3 प्रतिशत रहने का अनुमान लगाया है। MoSPI के आंकड़ों के मुताबिक, अक्टूबर में फूड बास्केट में महंगाई दर बढ़कर 0.85 फीसदी हो गई, जो पिछले महीने में 0.68 फीसदी थी। उपभोक्ता मूल्य सूचकांक (सीपीआई) द्वारा मापी गई भारत की खुदरा मुद्रास्फीति दर, खाद्य कीमतों में वृद्धि के कारण अक्टूबर में थोड़ा बढ़कर 4.48% सालाना हो गई, जो सितंबर में 35% थी। पिछले साल अक्टूबर में महंगाई दर 61 फीसदी थी।
- मेघालय में 44वां वांगला उत्सव शुरू
- मेघालय राज्य ने ‘वंगला’ के 44 वें संस्करण को मनाया, 100 ड्रम महोत्सव का त्योहार शुरू हुआ। यह गारोस जनजाति का एक फसल के बाद का त्योहार है जो हर साल गारोस के सूर्य देवता ‘सालजोंग’ को सम्मानित करने के लिए आयोजित किया जाता है, जो फसल के मौसम के अंत का भी प्रतीक है। 1976 से मनाया जाने वाला, यह गारो जनजाति का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण त्योहार है और बहुत सारे पर्यटकों को आकर्षित करता है। वंगला के दौरान, आदिवासी अपने देवता सलजोंग, सूर्य देव को प्रसन्न करने के लिए बलि चढ़ाते हैं।

- भोपाल के हबीबगंज रेलवे स्टेशन का नाम बदलकर रानी कमलापति स्टेशन कर दिया गया
- भोपाल, मध्य प्रदेश में हबीबगंज रेलवे स्टेशन का नाम बदलकर 18 वीं शताब्दी के भोपाल की गोंड रानी रानी कमलापति के नाम पर रखा गया है। प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी 15 नवंबर को अपने भोपाल दौरे के दौरान पुनर्निर्मित रानी कमलापति रेलवे स्टेशन का उद्घाटन करेंगे। तीन साल में पब्लिक प्राइवेट पार्टनरशिप मोड के तहत 450 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से रेलवे स्टेशन को आधुनिक हवाई अड्डे जैसी सुविधाओं के साथ पुनर्विकास किया गया है। रानी कमलापति भोपाल की अंतिम हिन्दू रानी और गोंड समाज की शान थीं।

- TVS Motor becomes first Indian two wheeler manufacturer to be included in UN Global Compact
- TVS Motor Company, the flagship company of the TVS Group, has joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), the world’s largest voluntary corporate sustainability initiative. TVS Motor has become the first Indian two wheeler and three wheeler manufacturer to join the UNGC. - RBI 2021-22. Retail (CPI) inflation for the year is estimated at 5.3%
