- तेलंगाना के यदाद्री भुवनगिरी जिले के पोचमपल्ली गांव, जो अपनी प्रसिद्ध हाथ से बुनी हुई इकत साड़ियों के लिए जाना जाता है, को संयुक्त राष्ट्र विश्व पर्यटन संगठन (यूएनडब्ल्यूटीओ) द्वारा सर्वश्रेष्ठ पर्यटन गांवों में से एक के रूप में चुना गया था। यह पुरस्कार 2 दिसंबर को मैड्रिड में UNWTO आम सभा के 24वें सत्र में दिया जाएगा।

- केंद्र ने लद्दाख के लिए एक नए राज्य सैनिक बोर्ड (आरएसबी) को मंजूरी दे दी है। बोर्ड केंद्र और लद्दाख प्रशासन के बीच एक प्रभावी कड़ी होगा। राज्य सैनिक बोर्ड सेवारत सैनिकों और उनके आश्रितों सहित भूतपूर्व सैनिकों, युद्ध विधवाओं, विधवाओं और गैर-लड़ाकों से संबंधित मामलों पर सलाहकार की भूमिका निभाएगा। लेह और कारगिल के जिला सैनिक कल्याण कार्यालय नवगठित राज्य सैनिक बोर्ड के तहत कार्य करेंगे।

- केंद्रीय मंत्री, पीयूष गोयल ने तमिलनाडु के तंजावुर में भारत का पहला डिजिटल खाद्य संग्रहालय वस्तुतः लॉन्च किया। यह भारतीय खाद्य निगम (FCI) और विश्वेश्वरैया औद्योगिक और तकनीकी संग्रहालय, बेंगलुरु (कर्नाटक) द्वारा सह-विकसित एक 1,860 वर्ग फुट का संग्रहालय है, जिसका अनुमानित परिव्यय 1.1 करोड़ रुपये है। यह संग्रहालय भारत की खाद्य कहानी को शुरू से ही देश में सबसे बड़ा खाद्य लाभ निर्यातक बनने तक चित्रित करने वाला अपनी तरह का पहला प्रयास है।

- Pochampally village in Telangana’s Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, known for its famous hand-woven ikat sarees, was chosen as one of the best tourism villages by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). The award will be presented at the 24th session of the UNWTO General Assembly in Madrid on 2 December.
- Center approves new Rajya Sainik Board for Ladakh
- The Center has approved a new Rajya Sainik Board (RSB) for Ladakh. The board will be an effective link between the Center and the Ladakh administration. The Rajya Sainik Board will act as advisory on matters relating to ex-servicemen, war widows, widows and non-combatants including serving soldiers and their dependents. The Zilla Sainik Welfare Offices of Leh and Kargil will function under the newly formed Rajya Sainik Board.

- United Nations Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres has appointed Shomby Sharp, United States (US), a sustainable development expert, as the United Nations Resident Coordinator in India. He will lead the UN team in India, and work towards India’s COVID-19 response plans to better recover from the Sustainable Development Goals. Prior to this, he served as the Resident Coordinator of the United Nations in Armenia.
- Paytm Money Launches AI-Powered ‘Voice Trading’
- Paytm Money, a wholly owned subsidiary of Paytm, has launched ‘Voice Trading’ powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI). It will allow users to trade or get information about stocks through a single voice command. This voice command feature uses neural networks and natural language processing (NLP) to allow immediate processing. The service has been launched in line with Paytm Money’s efforts to offer next generation and AI-powered technology to enhance the user experience.

- Union Minister, Piyush Goyal virtually launched India’s first digital food museum in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. It is a 1,860 sq ft museum co-developed by the Food Corporation of India (FCI) and Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technical Museum, Bengaluru (Karnataka) with an estimated outlay of Rs 1.1 crore. The museum is the first of its kind to depict the food story of India from its inception to becoming the largest food profit exporter in the country.

- UBS forecasts India’s GDP growth rate at 9.5% for FY12
- Swiss brokerage firm, UBS Securities has revised India’s real GDP growth forecast for 2021-22 to 9.5 per cent from 8.5 per cent. The upward revision has been attributed to a faster-than-expected recovery, rising consumer confidence and the resulting spending spike.
- India’s first fisheries business incubator launched in Gurugram
- A first of its kind, dedicated Fisheries Business Incubator has been inaugurated in Gurugram, Haryana, which nurtures fisheries start-ups in real market led conditions. The incubator is known as LINAC-NCDC Fisheries Business Incubation Center (LLFLC). It was inaugurated by the Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Shri Purushottam Rupala.
