- दक्षिण कोरिया के पूर्व राष्ट्रपति चुन डू-ह्वान का 90 वर्ष की आयु में दक्षिण कोरिया के सियोल में हृदय गति रुकने से निधन हो गया। वह ‘डेमोक्रेटिक जस्टिस’ पार्टी से ताल्लुक रखते थे। वह दक्षिण कोरिया के 5वें राष्ट्रपति बने। उन्होंने 1981 से 1987 तक डेमोक्रेटिक जस्टिस पार्टी के अध्यक्ष के रूप में कार्य किया।

- SBI ने पांडिचेरी को-ऑप मिल्क प्रोड्यूसर्स यूनियन लिमिटेड के साथ समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए
- भारतीय स्टेट बैंक (SBI) ने पांडिचेरी को-ऑप के साथ एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। दुग्ध उत्पादक संघ लिमिटेड (PONLAIT) व्यक्तिगत डेयरी किसानों को 3 लाख रुपये तक के वित्तपोषण के लिए। ऋण एसबीआई बैंक के योनो एप्लिकेशन के माध्यम से उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा। एसबीआई ने नियमित आधार पर वाणिज्यिक डेयरियों को दूध की आपूर्ति करने वाले व्यक्तिगत डेयरी किसानों के वित्तपोषण के लिए ‘सफल- सरल और तेज कृषि ऋण’ नामक एक प्रौद्योगिकी उत्पाद पेश किया है।
- RBI ने PMC बैंक के समामेलन के लिए एक मसौदा योजना जारी की
- भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) ने पंजाब और महाराष्ट्र सहकारी (PMC) बैंक को दिल्ली स्थित यूनिटी स्मॉल फाइनेंस बैंक लिमिटेड (USFB) के साथ समामेलित करने के लिए एक मसौदा योजना का खुलासा किया। यूनिटी स्मॉल फाइनेंस बैंक सेंट्रम ग्रुप और भारतपे के बीच एक संयुक्त उद्यम है। इसने 1 नवंबर, 2021 से एक छोटे वित्त बैंक के रूप में परिचालन शुरू कर दिया है। समामेलन की मसौदा योजना के अनुसार, यूनिटी द्वारा जमा सहित पीएमसी बैंक की संपत्ति और देनदारियों का अधिग्रहण अधिक सुरक्षा प्रदान करेगा।

- मध्य प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने इंदौर के पातालपानी रेलवे स्टेशन का नाम आदिवासी आइकन तांत्या भील के नाम पर रखने की घोषणा की है, जिन्हें आदिवासियों द्वारा ‘इंडियन रॉबिन हुड’ के नाम से जाना जाता था। सीएम ने यह भी घोषणा की कि इंदौर में 2 अन्य स्थलों, भंवर कुआं चौराहे और एमआर 10 बस स्टैंड का नाम भी तात्या भील के नाम पर रखा जाएगा। विशेष रूप से, भोपाल के हबीबगंज रेलवे स्टेशन का नाम हाल ही में एक आदिवासी रानी रानी कमलापति के नाम पर रखा गया था।

- Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has announced the launch of Bharat Gaurav, which will be run by both the private sector and IRCTC in a theme-based circuit. Indian Railways is in the process of finalizing theme-based tourist circuit trains through private and state-owned service providers to showcase the country’s rich cultural heritage.

- Former South Korean President Chun Doo-hwan died of heart failure at the age of 90 in Seoul, South Korea. He belonged to the ‘Democratic Justice’ party. He became the 5th President of South Korea. He served as chairman of the Democratic Justice Party from 1981 to 1987.

- The 5-day, 15th edition of the biennial trilateral exercise ‘DOSTI’ of Maldives, India and Sri Lanka was held in Maldives from 20-24 November 2021 as part of the Regional Security Formation for a Peaceful and Stable Indian Ocean Region. The exercise is conducted biennially between the Coast Guards of 3 countries. This year is the 30th year since the start of the exercise.

- Dr SK Sohan Roy from Kerala, CEO and founder of Aerys Group of Companies, has become the first Indian to be awarded the Knighthood of Part Gulfa for his humanitarian and environmental protection efforts in business and films. He was awarded the honorary title of “Knight of Part Guefa” during the conference ceremony held during the Investiture of Annus Domini 2021 Part Guerfa and held at the Basilica of Santa Croce and Palagio di Part Guefa in Florence, Italy.
- SBI signs MoU with Pondicherry Co-op Milk Producers Union Limited
- State Bank of India (SBI) has signed an MoU with Pondicherry Co-op. Milk Producers Union Limited (PONLAIT) for financing individual dairy farmers up to Rs.3 lakh. The loan will be made available through SBI Bank’s YONO application. SBI has introduced a technology product named ‘Safal – Simple and Fast Agriculture Loan’ for financing individual dairy farmers supplying milk to commercial dairies on a regular basis.
- RBI released a draft plan for amalgamation of PMC Bank
- The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) unveiled a draft plan to amalgamate Punjab and Maharashtra Co-operative (PMC) Bank with Delhi-based Unity Small Finance Bank Limited (USFB). Unity Small Finance Bank is a joint venture between Centrum Group and BharatPe. It has started operations as a small finance bank with effect from November 1, 2021. As per the draft scheme of amalgamation, the acquisition of PMC Bank’s assets and liabilities including deposits by Unity will provide greater security.

- Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced to name the Patalpani railway station in Indore after tribal icon Tantya Bhil, who was known by the tribals as ‘Indian Robin Hood’. The CM also announced that 2 other sites in Indore, Bhanwar Kuan intersection and MR 10 bus stand will also be named after Tatya Bhil. Notably, Bhopal’s Habibganj railway station was recently named after Rani Kamalapati, a tribal queen.

- NITI Aayog launched the inaugural SDG Urban Index and Dashboard 2021-22 to further strengthen the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) localization and establish robust SDG monitoring at the city level. The index is a ULB level SDG progress monitoring tool that highlights the strengths and gaps of ULB level data, monitoring and reporting systems. Shimla tops among 56 urban areas while Dhanbad in Jharkhand is at the bottom.
- NASA launches world’s first Dart mission
- US space agency NASA has launched a first of its kind mission named DART to divert the path of an asteroid by intentionally crashing a spacecraft. DART stands for Double Asteroid Redirection Test. The $325 million Dart mission was launched into orbit atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California on November 24, 2021.

- JPMorgan Chase has once again been named the world’s most important bank for the health of the broader financial system, according to the latest annual ranking of top lenders by global regulators. The Financial Stability Board (FSB), made up of regulators from G20 countries, published its latest table of the world’s 30 most organized banks.
