- Junior Engineer (Civil) : Diploma/ Degree in Civil Engineering or related sub-streams.
- Track Maintainer : 10th Passed (Land Loser candidates only).
- Senior Section Engineer (S&T) : 4-Year Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ IT/ Communication/Computer Engineering.
- ESTM-III : 10th Passed & ITI (Electrician/ Electronics Mechanic/ Wireman) or 10+2 with Physics & Maths.
- Section Controller : Graduation in any discipline.
- Station Master : Graduation in any discipline.
- Goods Train Manager : Graduation in any discipline.
- Assistant Loco Pilot : 10th Passed & ITI (relevant trades) or 3-Year Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile Engineering.
- Senior Section Engineer (Mechanical) : 4-Year Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ related Engineering.
- Junior Engineer (Mechanical) : 3-Year Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/related Engineering.
- Technician/III : 10th Passed & ITI (Fitter/ Mechanic/ Electrician/ Welder etc.)
- Commercial Supervisor : Graduation in any discipline (1 post reserved for PwBD)
